$65,000 - $75,000 per annum.
The main job function is the daily management of logistics functions in the Randox US Office and general maintenance and operations associated with the daily operations of the office.
The role:
To manage the daily logistics operations in Randox International Offices ensuring all functions are completed efficiently in accordance to company policies and procedures.
To measure, evaluate and improve on efficiency as appropriate.
To identify and investigate any non-conforming procedures ensuring appropriate corrective and preventative actions are implemented.
To enhance and maintain high customer service levels.
Prepare daily, weekly and monthly reports as required by Management.
The maintenance and improvement of departmental procedures and work instructions in line with ISO guidelines To maintain and update the International Logistics staff training plan ensuring all staff training is conducted effectively, regularly reviewed, updated as appropriate and documented correctly in line with training procedures.
To assist in HQ Logistics' in the absence of the HQ Logistics Manager or as required.
Assisting in areas of Logistics day to day functions when required.
The conducting of regular staff appraisals and the disciplining of staff when necessary.
To participate and respond to an internal quality audit as required.
The strict adherence to Randox reporting procedures Adherence to company Positive work Environment Policies, health & safety procedures, and the maintenance of a safe working environment.
The promotion of a positive approach to equal opportunities and ensure that Randox's Equal Opportunities policies and procedures are adhered to by staff for whom they are responsible.
Ensuring the smooth running of daily operations in the Office, including but not limited to arranging maintenance works as required and liaising with stakeholders on behalf of Randox Any other task assigned by the Global Logistics Manager or Senior Management.
The candidate:
Essential:
Third level qualification or equivalent.
Competent in the use of Microsoft Offices computer applications such as Word Excel and Outlook.
Be able to communicate in English both verbally and written.
Desirable:
Experience of Managing a team Experience in using a Sage and or SAP system.
Knowledge of importing legislations/regulations such as documentation required, Incoterms, tariff codes etc.
